ChiroPatient Content Created by Mr. William Esteb
The content published on Chiropatient has been written by Mr. William Esteb, a chiropractic patient and advocate for over 30 years. It is for informational purposes only and does not substitute for a visit with a licensed chiropractor or qualified health care practitioner.A Brief History and Background
After almost 10 years working in various advertising agencies in Seattle, San Francisco and Denver, Bill was introduced to chiropractic while working for International Media Systems. There he was asked to help write and produce the first chiropractic patient education videos for Renaissance International.
Beginning chiropractic care on a nonsymptomatic basis in February of 1981 as a “research project” to better understand the chiropractic experience from a patient’s point of view, Bill has continued to receive wellness chiropractic care since then, seeing nine different chiropractors in the Colorado Springs and Denver areas where he lives.
In 1987, he joined with two other Colorado chiropractors to form a company that provided patient education resources for chiropractors, including videos, posters, charts, brochures and other tools.
In 1999, he sold his interest to create the next generation of patient education products and supplies through Patient Media, Inc. Reference citations for many of the brochures published by Patient Media can be found on this site.
Working With Chiropractors and Chiropractic Patients
These days Mr. Esteb divides his time between writing patient education resources for chiropractic patients, and coaching and speaking to chiropractors about ways to run a patient-centric chiropractic practice.
He is the author of 10 books that explore the chiropractor/patient relationship from the patient’s point of view and a popular guest speaker at chiropractic association conventions and gatherings.
